Yawanawa Cacique Rapé: A Powerful and Sacred Blend

Yawanawa Cacique Rapé is a special blend that comes directly from Nixiwaka, also known as Biraci Brasil, Chief of the Yawanawa tribe. This Rapé is carefully prepared with a unique combination of three types of tobacco: Moi tobacco native to the region, extra-strong rope tobacco, and the renowned Sabia tobacco. In addition to the tobacco, Tsunu ash is used, resulting in a powerful and sacred blend.

Biraci Nixiwaka played a crucial role in reviving the cultural roots and traditional medicines of his people after they faced significant losses due to rubber tappers and evangelical pastors. He was the first in many years to undergo an initiation diet, reconnecting him with his ancestors and the wisdom of their ancient healing practices. One of these revitalized medicines was Rumã, also known as Rapé.

As Chief, Biraci led his people back to their original home, Aldeia Sagrada, on the Gregorio River. This sacred village is the last inhabited place within the Yawanawa Indigenous lands. In the early 1990s, Biraci was part of a movement of young tribal leaders who sought to raise awareness about indigenous peoples and their rights. Today, he dedicates his life to the spiritual well-being of his people.

Yawanawa Cacique Rapé is a testament to the resilience and determination of Biraci and the Yawanawa people
